I am an elementary school teacher. I like to knit, crochet, make jewelry, and embroider. I also like to collect vintage cookbooks, which is where I get inspiration for many of my palettes and colors. I am always looking for new color combinations and new friends.
Other direct influences on my color choices and titles include, but are not limited to: Mystery Science Theater 3000, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Margaret Atwood, The Who, horror movies, Lloyd Cole, Lovecraft, The Beautiful South, Thomas Dolby, The Twilight Zone, Kelly Link, The Kinks, The IT Crowd, Tom Robbins, Twin Peaks, Billy Bragg, The Mighty Boosh, Francesca Lia Block, The Talking Heads, and bad movies in general.

Oh, and my favorite color is pink.
