How I spent my 60th birthday ... heading toward the Vatican on the back of a Vespa!
HI ... I'M LINDA ...
and I'm a ColourLover addict. I've been playing here nearly
every day since July 2009. Clearly, I love this place, and that's
all because of caring, generous people like you.
I'M ALSO ONE OF CL'S SENIOR CITIZENS.
At 63, I like to think of myself as a wise woman—one who has been through
a lot in life and has learned her lessons well. But just when I think I've got things figured out,
life throws a curve ball, and I have to reconsider things. Thankfully, I enjoy thinking.
I love to ponder on and discuss philosophy, theology, politics, psychology, the meaning of life, the nature of God—well, you get the drift. Over the years, I've had some fabulous discussions with others here. Those chats are some of my most favorite memories.
PLEASE KNOW I AM GRATEFUL.
Each of your loves, faves, and comments matters to me.
Like nearly everyone, I don't always say so personally,
but I think you're the best.
AN INCREDIBLY SPECIAL GIFT
from the beautiful people in the "Colourlovers on Spoonflower" group.
Please take the time to read the remarkable story of how this "Cancer
Healing Quilt" came to be (Collaborative COLOURlovers Project).
And to everyone in the group, you have my undying love and gratitude.
Ketisse presented the quilt to me just days before my 6th post-mastectomy surgery.
I GET TOTALLY LOST WHEN MAKING TEMPLATES!!!
Flowers, paisleys, flowers, butterflies, flowers, birds...did I say flowers?
They are my passion, and I'm drawn to creating floral designs the way bees are drawn to honey.
A lot of my creations are pretty funky—I'm not a trained artist—but occasionally I'll hit the jackpot
and produce something I really like. I'm currently on a "weird flowers" kick and having a ball.
Hope you like what you see!
