Doubled colors allows you to give a palette percentages of influence, or hierarchy. Heirarchy is, of course, part of any palette. It;s a pity we cannot simply ask for a pixel width for more control.

Thanks. It is important to remember that Black can have temperature, and hue. Underestimating Black will limit all of your palettes. Do not fear the darkness... :)
