I am an artist in Northern Canada. Colour has always been important to me. It does so much to express a mood, or create one. That's why I love all kinds of colours- warm, cool, soft, dark, and bright- especially bright ones!
I was very flattered and happy to find that Ireached 200 followers on May 12. Thank you everyone for making Colourlovers the best and most fun creative community on the internet.
For my milestone, I have received these beautiful gifts from daisychain!
And I love this 1LP from Ketisse!
I paint in acrylics and mixed media, and I make bead and wire wrap jewelry. My work is online on my blog site, marydolman.wordpress.com.
Ideally I would like to be able to thank everyone personally for your loves and favourites. There isn't always time. To be quite honest, I would rather have more time for looking at colours and patterns, and sending out more love. Nonetheless, please know that every one of your loves and favourites is noticed and appreciated.
Thankyou to the Colourlovers staff, for picking my pattern template "Rosevines" (which was used to create "Rosie Fine") to spotlight on the Colourlovers facebook wall on January 30, 2012.
This site has inspired me to start designing patterns. It's exciting to see how different colourlovers can bring out different personalities in the templates with colour. Here are some examples of my colour work on my templates...
...and some of my favourites of other people's colour work using my templates. I have a lot of favourites, so it's hard to choose!
