2010: As we move forward from the tumultuous events of 2009, we find we're looking forward into a well-defined future. A future of hope, but also a future of solidity. We know where we've been, and we finally know where we're headed. It's a color of stability. A color of wealth. A cool shade, indicating a relaxed attitude towards the worries of the past. This is the green of 2010. This is the Color of the Year.
2011: In the same tone as my suggestion for 2010, I think it's time to get back to nature. Green is the color of wealth, but also, the color of the Earth. Between violent storms, oil spills, and natural catastrophes, this color signifies the need to pay attention to the world around us. . . before it's gone.
2012:Again with the green suggestions, this color signifies both the eco-friendly "fad" that is quickly becoming a new way of life, as well as hinting at lush Mayan jungles, a play on the proposed catastrophe based on a calendar that ends this year.
