A little abstract, a little whimsical, and a whole lot of simple and uncomplicated. I find beauty in worn out things and promise in something as simple as a snipet of string or a scribble on a scrap of paper. I collect fabric, thread wound and tangled on old wooden spools, buttons and pencils. Found objects are a fascination and color leaves me giddy. My broken crayons are still my favorite thing to draw with, and I consider it a personal challenge to see how many different ways I can draw a smile.
