In my former incarnation as a creative in the print industry, I used to wear the similar hats of graphic designer, art director, or creative director. Now, alas, I'm seeking career stability in the healthcare field, but oh do I miss the days of being creative: thinking up the big idea, contemplating execution of said idea, and--at times--even enjoying the fruits of these labours as well. An award or two once in awhile was always nice, but it was always the journey itself--the creative process--that was really the biggest reward of all.
It is a pleasure to see such a website as colourlovers.com come along to inspire us to continue enjoying the creative process--even for those of us who can't do it as regularly as we once had the great privilege to. Thanks colourlovers.com for creating such a pleasant community for us to be creatively engaged. =)
