I want to respond to your messages, but it's going to be a little slow.. I had worked my way to 5 pages from the top of the stack a couple days ago, but I've had 286 or so new messages since then-- I do read everything! Thanks so much for your patience. Right now I'm on page 31. I started on page 38, but gained 4 more pages while writing comments. I'm going out to lunch now.

What would you want to know about Eighteyed? Well, first that Eighteyed is a partial anagram of my first and last names, a nickname I use sometimes. The letters contain my first name, Edith. I'm fifty-one, which kinda happened when I wasn't looking. I was briefly a professional illustrator, loved the work, hated the biz. Still an artist. I snort graph paper, by which I mean I have six heavy binders of geometric designs especially suited for quilts, costing hundreds of dollars in Crayola markers and gouache. (although I've never made a quilt) I need to finish the book, because I'm on to something unique and useful. I have tried many art mediums, was a potter for 12 years. I have decorated scores of frosted x-mas balls with gold and silver paint pens, which is where my recent template aesthetic comes from. I really love to draw with ballpoint pens. I knit many hats and scarves, and have never repeated a hat except once, when the production crew of Tony Brownrigg's horror film Red Victoria lost the first one (worn throughout by a supporting character.) They tend to be lurid. I used to manage sci-fi/anime convention art shows, lots. I have a beloved yellow dog of international mystery, Trina. Other info by request.
Sometimes I'm browsing the site on a phone and find it difficult to post a reply, but at least I can mash the buttons! I don't always have the time to go into as much detail as I'd like.
Thanks so much for this honor!

Today's "Postcard":

Thank you so much for these template gifts ^_^

=============================================
Please post whatever onto my page! I love your inspirations, oversize images, badge collections, preview tiles, everything, post away! Without your beautiful colors, Colourlovers is just a bland white page, like a big blank refrigerator door. I love your creativity, and if I were your Grandma, I'd want your pictures all over my refrigerator, so something fell off everytime I went for a pickle. Your badges are like a gorgeous stamp collection that I never have to worry about damaging. Your picture compositions are like first day covers! Plus I know that whatever you post here advertises your goodies to anyone in the message column, and if I can help you promote your creativity to the greater world of colour lovers, I'm there!
