My life has turned upside down since May 14, 2010, when my child, at the age of 29 committed suicide - he was the child I never worried about - the little boy with auburn hair - the mathematical genius - never a bad word to say about anyone - lelanrandall posted a beautiful memorial theme for his deceased wife, and my son, Jeremy.
Jeremy was extremely successful at his career writing software - he never set out to do things for money, but to follow his dreams - he actually accepted the job that offered him the least amount of a salary after he graduated from college, but this company in Wisconsin was where he wanted to be - his life was filled with work, ultimate frisbee, and he began a program at night for his MBA - he was made a team leader at his company - unfortunately, he was in a short term relationship, and must have hit a horrible depression when she left him for her other boyfriend - life was good for him, and then this must have triggered the severe and sudden drop into clinical depression - he hurt so badly that he needed to ease his pain - unfortunately, that involved purchasing and using a gun to end his life.
At that moment, his brother became an only child - it has been rough but we have survived - slowly, we have come to know a "new" normal - our younger son lives not far away - a wonderful child - a good heart - a good and kind person - he also has a great group of friends who are also good and kind to others.
Kuler was a great place - I was on that site for a year or two before this occurred - our lives will forever be changed
