I am an architect five days a week, musician some saturdays, painter some sundays. I am passionatly fond of colours.
Colours are a language like music, architecture and many other arts.
I think that the beginings of informatics open a new period in their studie.
We know how make music instruments since a long time. What is particular about a music instrument is that it materializes proportions between sounds.
With colours we had till now only natural or synthetic materials without relations between them : madder red or phtalocyanin blue and so on...
Today computer science allows us to generate digital colours. We dispose perceptive colours models like CIE Lab wich take care of human vision caracteristics. We have tools to make not only music instrument but also colour instrument.
Colours language basis are the same as in architecture or rmusic : proportions.
