Occupation
I am artist, designer, and illustrator, with passionate bursts of such intense creativity, they leave me spent the next (few) day(s). I am also part techie, vacillating back and forth between loving and loathing that work, but I hear I am not alone, so I don't feel so weird. My 'Tru' nature is artist, and also have a left brain fascination with patterns and codeāgo figure.
I love designing seamless patterns, seen on
iStockphoto and
Flickr.
I joined ColourLovers to explore color palettes and also have fun. I have often been told my sense of color shines, so maybe I am more colorist and fine artist, than the rest of my endeavors... but today is a day where I am in that *spent* realm. Tomorrow, who knows?
Reading about the different licenses in COLOURlovers makes me wonder if I am viewed in here as being stingy by not sharing my plethora of patterns I have already designed... I'm not, honestly. The Creative Commons License puts my contracts in jeopardy with other companies I commercially supply, and I cannot do that. Even with the All Rights Reserved license in here, the patterns I create here are still available to be downloaded at higher resolutions than my contracts allow. The only thing I can do is color other people's patterns. That's a bummer for me, as I love to create patterns. If you would like to see some of the patterns I do create, links are above.
If anyone has any ideas or can shed some light on my dilemma, I welcome a PM from you.
Thanks, and stay jazzed about creating!

P.S. I have been so swamped lately, that I have to apologize. I have been remiss with paying attention to you all. I am keeping track of all the love and will love you back (all 100+ posts I see up there, OMG!), as soon as I can. Life just needs to slow down a little.
