[[ Before we get to the business of you getting to know me, I feel the need to mention something:

I hate to do this, but I just can't keep up with thanking everyone individually like everyone else, sooo you are going to have to settle for an umbrella "thank you" & "you're welcome" statement here*:

Seriously, though, every single one of your loves, faves, thank you comments, follows, uses of my palettes, etc. is SUPER UPER DUPER appreciated! Especially considering the fact that I'm basically clueless when it comes to color... Please, teach me the ways of the Colour-Loving Guru so I can dress myself with confidence once more! (I was confident before finding this site, because -- what's that saying again? Oh! Ignorance is bliss. ; ) or in this case, misplaced self-assurance. :D) Okay, now to the introductions! ]]

Hey, I'm Mandie. : ) Here's what you need to know about me: a) I'm pretty rad. b) I'll probably think you're pretty rad, too. And that's about it!

What's that you say? You want to know more about me? Oh, fine, if you insist: I'm LDS, aka Mormon (NOT the same thing as FLDS/Fundamentalist Mormon!), I sing, I LOVE to laugh (and am pretty good at it, as I have had years of practice), I'm a gigantically dorky nerd (as if you don't know that by now), I adore animals of every sort, I'm a cancer survivor (a very interesting story, if I do say so myself -- and I just did -- it's one you may very well read someday), and I'm absolutely in love with life! I'm addicted to many things, including, but not limited to, WORDS & anything having to do with the English language, sunshine & summertime, late night/early morning hours, ice cream, magazines, Polyvore, color (of course), babies & children (particularly my 22 ridiculously awesome nieces & nephews <3), people in general (human behavior is so fascinating!), and, apparently, parentheses (sorry! : P haha). I'm rather frightened by this website... I can see the potential it has of becoming my newest distraction. : / Oh, and, perhaps most importantly: M U S I C I S M Y L O V E R. I can never get enough!!!
