Beautiful palette of all cool colours, without being in the least melancholy, in fact quite the opposite: clear, cool and collected. Perfect colours for an ice cream shop. Love the 'refrigerator' reference.

I based this pallette on an actual photograph of my brother and I on Christmas morning in our pyjamas in the family room, displaying our presents. Yes, I'm um, older than I look. LOL. I scanned the image and sort of extracted the dominant colours, but used a bit of creative license to come up with a striking palette. The green comes from the Christmas tree, but we really did have orange shag carpet, burgundy tweed drapes, a brick fireplace and fake wood panelling. You should have seen the kitchen!
