After 3 1/2 years, I decided to update my profile with a bit more than just adding another year to my age. Surprisingly, I have yet to see much silver in my hair, although when I look at my parents I do see that heredity has definitely played a part with the gray, I can only hope to look as great as my mother does at 82!. I am also finding that as I age I am far less interested in material things that I used to be, I have no desire to "keep up with the Jones's" < (that is an old saying that some of the younger generation have probably have no clue as to what it means) , Otherwise... A luxurious home, car, wardrobe etc. is not a priority in my life, and I am grateful for what I do have. To me, Cathedral ceilings and granite counter tops are a waste of space and money. In the long run I feel the goodness that dwells in my heart and soul, and the willingness to share will be what matters. Teach your children well, they need to take time to look up from the computer screen and text messages and see that there is so much more... as we all need to do more often. The greedy and self- centered lifestyle that so many seem oblivious to needs to be reckoned with.
