This blue-green lies heavily into green, and makes a great compliment for the other green you were thinking (which I'd use on an accent wall and in those lovely open doorways as the under colour. You could use the salmon-ish colour to pull in some more warmth, though you have a lot of earthy warmth going on here already with all the almonds, rusts and browns all over the classroom. Don't be afraid to go a little dark in a room with a dropped ceiling and plenty of light. I think it would look nice in the room, though a few shades lighter might be great. Behr has a great colour called Moonlit Pool that is serene but lively and fresh at the same time called Moonlit Pool and it really is very complimentary to the green side of things without dulling out the array of earth you have going on in that room. If you wanted to go a shade lighter, the Pacific Sea Teal would also be a great colour. You can always buy some samples and paint a large piece of poster board and use it to gauge how it will go with everything else in the room.
Those are just my ideas. You don't want to go too blue, because it can drain a bit with a lot of earthy tones. The teal really makes it feel more safe to me and would better go with the carpet. Plus, if you have boys and girls, you never want to lean too far into blue.
Here's the same palette in a bit brighter/lighter colours;

I have seen your photo's and I think it is all a little bland..not so inspiring for young people.
It is more suitable for senior citizens (lol)
I have 3 suggestions for you... .,
>A dark floor in such a large place "binds" the furniture more.. So all these loose elements like chairs and tables look less scattered through the space..
> Think about (new) "Retro" colours with a bold orange, for an example. Also a neutral palette with some real Funky colours can do the trick.
> Here is one of my colour-palettes that is, maybe, suitable for the place.
Dont mind the title!
Good luck with it! It is a real challenge...
