This one open space will have area for couch/tv, office/desk, and kids corner. Overall I want the room to feel warm and interesting for family entertainment but minimalist and modern. I have these pillows that have like a dark teal and mossy green colors on them that are gorgeous and wanted to use that as my inspiration. But I am very worried that these colors are too dark for the space. Do dark colors make space with no natural light smaller? Here is my idea, I am going to install white hardwood floor and paint ceiling and trimmings bright white to offset the dark paint colors. Though I am even having a hard time looking for the right teal or mossy green (that doesn't look gross). Should I scrap this idea and find something else? Is there a third color that I can use to compliment/contrast these colors? All suggestions welcome!

Behr's website has a thing where you can make palettes of different Behr paint colors, BUT, you could do that on this site as well.

For a dark basement space, I would go with light colors (pale yellow, cream, pale blue) and reflective surfaces (mirrors, metallic accents, glass) to bounce light around.

My sincerest apologies for not posting this in the proper place but the "bugs" thread is not letting me post.

For some reason a whole heap of stuff doesn't seem to be working properly. Noone's palettes/patterns are showing up on their profiles, just the bio and recent comments, I can't edit anything and none of the drop down menus are working.

Is this happening to anyone else or is it just me?

I just love this. The peachy colours look so calming and serene and then there's the grey and the turquoise which gives off a 50's feel (which I just love on its own). It's a perfect colour palette for this summer.

Contrary to the cliché, not all artists are solitary creatures. With Tagtool Touch, collaborative creation is the name of the game - it's easy to hook up several iPads over Wifi to paint in the same projection.

Tagtool Touch is ingenious entertainment for visual people. It's an educational activity that helps break down social barriers. Above all, it's a serious artistic instrument, for inspired and authentic visuals.
