My husband and I are building a new home. The main flooring will be hickory....Is a light wood with some very dark mixture in the grain...

I'm wanting a color that will make the wood "pop". Any suggestions?

Thanks!!!

It's my experience that hickory tends to have more muted grayed undertones. It's hard to use brighter and clearer colors without making the wood look dull. Try using misty or cooler colors to keep the wood from looking muddy. Midtone soft greens, muted coral/oranges, periwinkles, there are probably more to choose froom than you think!

My sincerest apologies for not posting this in the proper place but the "bugs" thread is not letting me post.

For some reason a whole heap of stuff doesn't seem to be working properly. Noone's palettes/patterns are showing up on their profiles, just the bio and recent comments, I can't edit anything and none of the drop down menus are working.

Is this happening to anyone else or is it just me?

I just love this. The peachy colours look so calming and serene and then there's the grey and the turquoise which gives off a 50's feel (which I just love on its own). It's a perfect colour palette for this summer.

Contrary to the cliché, not all artists are solitary creatures. With Tagtool Touch, collaborative creation is the name of the game - it's easy to hook up several iPads over Wifi to paint in the same projection.

Tagtool Touch is ingenious entertainment for visual people. It's an educational activity that helps break down social barriers. Above all, it's a serious artistic instrument, for inspired and authentic visuals.
