Interior Design Trends: Blue, Brown & White

Yes, like the blue/brown/white combo. Very sophisticated. Not crazy about brown, so a pretty tan would do.

I prefer this combo on clothing more than in decor. Not that I find it to not work in decor.... I remember first noticing this trend in attire back in the early 90s and have loved it ever since.

A friend did her bathroom in these colors. I think it looks great.

I love these colors. I think however the brick brownish red is more the spring color this year, as well as a pale, very pale yellow instead of white for 1020. Martha Stewart has these browns and blues. So I think it gives us that feeling of home, quality.

For me, the turquoise is a inspiration of ocean blues and greens, the browns are the earth and those water colors are always my favorite!! Awesome photo BTW of colors and objects! Very Crate and Barrel as far as quality and taste!

I started with my living room furniture, then my bathroom, and now my bedroom...blue and brown are so easy to work with. I have to be careful before my whole house becomes variations on these shades. Here are some of the ways I've used them.
