Well actually never heard anything drone before ... after going to lastfm i saw Khanate mentioned, and maybe thats the only one that rings a bell ... anyway i m listening now some of Earth songs from myspace ... interesting ... thou it aint my style .. hehehe metal is so a huge universe !!! :) thx bro for showing drone.
Now maybe i should introduce dark metal, another very very varied kind of metal, a mix between gothic&balck&death .... weird species ...
Bands i like:
Ajattara - Finnish and close to doom - http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=XjgS_oVwQhM
Agalloch - they consider themselves close to dark ... imo almost doom sometimes, USA- http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=gYMaIzFq1Iw
Withering
and my favourite
that's great :) I will listen to that bands, Bestia, sounds interesting ;) but here at work is a little complicated, so I will download some tracks and listen to them at home ;) thank you!
No problem bro ... but maybe they arent for you ... i recommend you agalloch .... they suit you better, also because thay are a cross of many ways and very talented guys.
For me Before the Dawn is my fuel, with Ammon Amarth and eternal Tears of Sorrow, they are my basics, my cheer up batteries when feeling tired .... ahh and i listen to them at work, as i listen the music form my working mates, which of course has nothing to do with metal universe :)
