possibly one of the most permanent and constantly relevant things in art are comic books. the success of spiderman and batman movies is difficult to imagine along with all the other adaptations for film. there are quite a few movies with graphic novels inspirations soon to come to theaters as well, so for this challenge, i'd like to see some palette and patterns themed around any comic book or character. here is a great resource to get started.
