Welcome! This group is for palettes and colours inspired by the rising and setting of the sun. Some of the most beautiful colours in nature occur during these moments - if you can capture them, share them here.
Please don't add irrelevant palettes. I can't remove individual creations from the group, so I may have to remove you instead! XD
Sunmeadow Tribute
I joined the FFP group, but can't seem to view the video. I am usually on my iPad, so I will try on the computer later.
Thanks for doing this Steph!

In light of the recent tragic passing of Sunmeadow, the next Freeze Frame Project will be dedicated to her. The video as shown below is one that has sunrises and sunsets over meadows and other beautiful landscapes..for obvious reasons.
I thought I might ask you if you'd agree to making this a joint groups effort.
Welcome Freeze Frame members, Sunset & Sunrise members, please feel free to participate in this tribute to one of the most talented, generous and supportive members of this community, Sunmeadow.

Hello Everyone,
Freeze Frame Project is holding a tribute in rememberance of Sunmeadow. Since the selected video is one that shows many sunrises and sunsets, I thought it would be fitting to have both groups create palettes from this video.
If you are not familiar with Freeze Frame, below you will find described what to do.
Basically all you really need to do is take a screenshot of the frame in the video that you love, make a palette and post both of them in the FFP - Sunmeadow tribute thread.
You can also send me a lovenote if you have questions.

# - GENERAL IDEA
Create a palette based on the colours in a particular moment in the video that you like. A new short video (+/- 5 min.) will be presented in a new thread. This will happen every week. If you like one of the video's in an old thread, you can still make a palette and add it to that thread.
The main FFP header tells you what the current video thread is and when the next will be posted.
#1 - HOW TO'S
You'll get the hang of it. I promise. =]
Doh!:
- Join This Group! <3
- Watch the vid.
- Hit the pause button!
When you see a moment with colours that you love.
Phew!:
- Create a palette.
As many as you want.
- Name your palette with the time stamp of the vid preferably in the title.
So we can easily see where the colours come from. As in the samples below.
- Tag your palette with FFP + add project number
FFP1, FFP2, FFP3 etc.
- Check the box that says Freeze Frame Project.
- Post the Banner/Group Badge in the Description of your palette.
- Post the embed code of the video in the Description of your palette. (optional)
Yesss!
- Post the palette in this group by copy-pasting the palette badge.
Badge embed code is below the Twitter and FB icon on the palette page.
- Check out the Freeze Frame palettes by the other members. And of course if you have friends who love watching great vids, invite them to join!
1a - The Screenshot
You can choose to post your palette together with a screenshot. You don't have to...This is completely optional. Click through to find out how to take > crop > save > post a screenshot. On both PC (Windows) and on MAC.
1b - Screenshot To Photocopa
You might choose to use PHOTOCOPA to make your FFP palettes. Click here to find out how to upload your saved screenshot onto PHOTOCOPA.
#2 - USEFUL TOOLS
The Eyedropper add-on allows you to click on a colour in the video so you can copy it and use it in the palette. Click on the links to get the add on's and for more info.
