I notice that some palettes have a * after the name and that those palettes do not have the "Downloads Option" section. Can anyone tell me why?

Hey there. :)

I'd say it's just a co-incidence. All palette creators have the option of setting their own creative commons license for their works; if they set their work as 'all rights reserved,' than those download options simply aren't present.

Look right above that download area you mention, it will either show a creative commons license code or a brief blurb to contact the author for permission.

I suspect (since I have no way of checking unless you post a palette badge) that you have found an artist who uses the '*' in their palette titles, and who has also chosen to reserve usage rights for their palettes/other works.

Hope that helps. :)

This helps. Thanks for your response.

Are palettes limited to just five colors? I have a six color palette I'd love to post. (And it's actually eight colors as I use it, with the addition of black and white.)

Hi!, may be someone asked this before, but i didn't find an answer, how do you insert the little image of your palette or pattern, with its name and the colorlovers logo, when you make a comment and say thanks to someone that fave or love your palette?

Please tell me something about it because i really want to do that and makes me crazy don't know how.

I have the same doubt, but I haven't been able to find an answer, either. If I find something I'll let you know.

Hi there, I hope you have already gotten your answer, but in case you have not, here it is...

From your notifications page, you can click on the link to item that was loved or faved. This will bring you to that page for that item. On the right-hand side, find the section SHARE THIS PALETTE. Click in the area under GRAB THIS BADGE CODE to highlight the code. Then go to the lovers page and paste that copied code with your comments.

When I get a lot of loves and faves from one lover, I copy the badges and paste into Notepad and then copy all from there and paste with my thank you.

hi! i was wondering how do you use palletes when you color a pattern? i can't seem to find anything of help

JeriMork

after you find a palette you like, then on of it, it says, create pattern, click on that, then on the right it lists different patterns, you can choose the one you like, first pick a category in drop down menu like: floral, or ornate etc. then click on the one you like and it will be filled in by the palette colors.

also if you want you can move the hues around by clicking and holding down while you move then to area you want to color, you can also change the hues of the palette by clicking on the color and then to the right chose the shade you want.

I hope that helps :)

Hi, I hope it's okay to post a question here ^^

I'd like to know if it's possible to edit a palette's description and still keep the custom widths? The message always tells me if I want to keep my custom widths that I should edit using COPASO, but when I click on that link, it takes me to COPASO and my existing palette is not there.

Thanks for looking :)

Hi i was wondering how do you change the panel size in a finished palette?

MuseOfMusic

Which program are you using, to create your patterns? If it's Copaso of Photocopa, I can walk you through it. Basically, at the top of your colors, there are little + signs. You can move those around, before finishing your palette, to be the sizes you want.

EssJayyDeee

Hi, I was wondering how I can post a picture I used for inspiration with my palette? I used copaso and I attached the picture, but its too small and not clickable. I have the image link, but when I tried to post it in the description or as a comment, it shows up too big, and ends up being cut off. Could anyone tell me how I could adjust the size with html so that it can be put in the description, so that it may be seen properly? Any help would be appreciated! :)
