Sharing the Love

If you like to use an iPad, iPhone or iPod (called iDevices) to colour patterns and otherwise navigate this site, it won't always work. This site isn't designed to work well with them, though hopefully, that will change.

If you can't save a pattern you've been working on, take your iDevice with you to a laptop or desktop computer. Fave the pattern so you can find it on your profile page on the laptop/desktop unless you have an easier way of finding it. But first, make a note of the HEX values for the colours you are using and where in the pattern they are used: the five squares beneath any pattern template indicate where the colours are used - call them positions 1 through 5. For example, let's say I used a red colour, HEX 910303 in position 1, the leftmost square. When I work on the pattern on my laptop/desktop, I type that HEX value in the colour picker window for the leftmost square. In this way, transfer all your colours to the pattern on your laptop/desktop. Then click "save" and breathe a sigh of relief! :)
