what is the difference between "Love this" and "Fave this"?

It seems this should have been asked before, but I can not find it.

I want to show people I like their work, but I also want a record (copy) of it to appear on my profile page so I can find it again easily. But if I love and fave I have 2 copies there, which is redundant.

Any explanations? Thanks

The way I do it, is if I like something, I love it, and if I really really like something I fave it. Therefore I can show my support and interest throughout the loving, and keep a "private collection" by faving things. So the loving is to show others, and the faving is something for just me.
