How do people make gradient palettes like this?
========
I have been asked: How does everybody make gradients?
I think the point is to personalise a 'direct' mathematical gradient - if you use a tool , it won't be as as as... personal. - I think
Mathematical gradients generally make a curve in the color wheel - if you make one and click on each color, one after the other, (remember where the points are- approx. ) and imagine joining the points, it makes a curve.
Here compare these - open the link and click on each color looking at the color wheel
>>
These below weren't made using a tool
>>
This is an old palette of mine - you can see it's a little brighter than the other one - and I think that's what makes a big difference! ^^'

CONCLUSION: Don't think, don't use a tool - just do it! :D

COLOUR HEX CODES
Hex codes are useful to copy a color as simple text.
Hex codes are often used because unlike RGB or HSV, they can be copy-pasted in one block
Hex codes can be found above any colour wheel
This screenshot made to explain HSV also shows HEX A3A58D - it's in the very first input area
Example for this color:
The Hex codes for the above colour can be found:
Below the color name
On palette pages:
On color pages:
and also in the page title & link of color pages:
which means - you can browse color pages by manually typing the hexcode in the URL (the name is not important)
