In this group, ColourLovers are invited to share their respectful tributes to honor those who have recently passed away.

Participants may choose to write about their subject in the description of their palette, pattern or named color. Please add [r] as a tag for this group to the name. When creating palettes, meaningful words
may be used as keywords to search for colors.

Most discussions will be organized by month. Occasionally, badges will be posted to announce the passing of a well-known person.

Catastrophic Loss

This thread is for remembrances of those known and unknown due to Natural Disasters (Acts of God). Examples include floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, tornados, cyclones, monsoons, hurricanes, drought, extreme heat or cold, etc.

When posting your creations, please name the event in your description and include the date of the catastrophe.

Although names of those who have perished under these circumstances WILL NOT BE REQUIRED for posting tributes IN THIS DISCUSSION, the focus should remain on respecting those who died.

Please provide enough information so others who see your tribute will understand how it is a Remembrance.

Thanks,

ketisse (formerly known on CL as "poetatete")

I am adding this here to make connections between the places I am creative, this moodboard uses a pattern created at COLOURLovers as the background. On MyDeco we too have a tradition of remembering those afflicted by devastating natural disasters ... the more people we can join together in prayer/thoughts and solidarity around the world the better - please join us in whatever way you can to support and encourage those affected to take time to grieve and re-establish their lives with dignity ...

Hey guys,
Just wanted to let you know...
I am saddened that my home country suffered a huge blow from mother nature. Luckily, friends and family in Tokyo are doing well.
