Mine are displayed as 3 palette series of 15 colors (00 omitted in one dimension instead of making 4 palettes of 16 colors). I am working with hexadecimal triplets, e.g. 114455. There are 16 reds, 16 greens and 16 blues for 4096 choices.

You may have some other palette ideas. The old "Websafe" colors would only have 00,33,66,99,CC,FF for each color, or 216 choices.
