Palette of the Day

Hey palette of the day members. I am here to announce that we need some dedicated members to be judges. If you feel that you'll take the time to choose 3 of the top palettes on your assigned day, post your best palette as a reply to this conversation. We will choose 3 or 4 of the top palettes and the lovers that created those will get to judge. We will notify the winners privately what their assigned day is. I can't be a judge, but I agree with MuseOfMusic. How does it work? Do you chose the palettes randomly? Can you tell us more about the system? • - •

Here's how we do it:
on the morning of the day we are responsible for nominations, we pick three palettes. to find those, we look under palettes put into our group. sometimes all three come from there, but if most of the palettes are by current winners, we get them another way. that way is from member's profiles. then, we make a new conversation for the nominations and put the three in there by using the badge codes. at the end of the day, we count up votes (including our own) and post the winning palette. :) hope that answers your questions

Sort of. First off, I gave you the idea to go to their profiles. LOL.....But, in regards to picking what's in the group, how do you know if they've been used already, or not? You know how I run my group, I would just like to know how some of this worked. I'm not trying to start a color war here, lol....So I apologize, but I do want to know. :)

Well, usually when we pick the top 3 we can check the most recent nominations for the recent palettes that have been nominated. But it's all right if you post something that had been nominated a while ago and didn't win.

right, so like fabpurple zebra said, we look at the msot recent nominations/winners and pick nominations that are not from recent winners/nominees. if that makes any sense :)

Oh my, I was reading so fast earlier, I'm sorry. I sent octolover my palette. I thought it said to send it by love note. I'm sorry ladies, it's been a rough day.
