![]() Posting Multiblends ![]() ![]() rblue85 rblue85 wrote: 1 Nov, 2007
I just use code to put all the palettes together. I'm not real good at html code so I cheat a lot. I used the code for the palette badges. So just copy the palette badge code for each palette and replace the second link with the link to the actual image of your palette. To get the link for that all you have to do is right click on the image of your palette and click "copy image location" and then just use "ctrl + v" to paste the link after where it says "img src=" with in the code and make sure you get it between the quotes. As far as size you control that by changing the pixel size where it says width and height. I used width: 100px; height: 75px; for the palettes on my profile page and I used width: 50px; height: 37.5px; for the palettes within the palette description and I use width: 75px; height: 56.25px; for the palettes I posted within my conversation on this group. Let me know if this makes sense or not, also if you have any other questions just pass me a note! ;-) ![]()

How would I post a palette vertically? Like in the stripe blends. If you are talking about mine, then if you post here I allow the width to be 500 here, on your own page 400 and 250 for a comment on your palette for each line or palette. You can vary the height how ever long you want vertically. If you want to do like Stephan look at his conversations. Hint to all if you want to know the exact code comment on the one you want & it will bring up the text of the conversation before you type in your comments. Any questions send me an email & I can try to help you. ![]() ![]() ![]() _stefan _stefan wrote: 26 Nov, 2007

How would I post a palette vertically? Like in the stripe blends. As Dreamagent 2 says (with "f" Zindy, not with "ph"!) The stripe blends aren't vertical (but look like). If you are interested in verticality like this for example here we go: I use not the big sizes but the smaller, for example I would use this picture (http://www.colourlovers.com/paletteImg/F1EAA8/95B1B1/Shut_up_and_Smoke!.png) for this palette (http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/202336/Shut_up_and_Smoke!). You get the address on windows-systems with the right mouse button, I'm not sure how it works in mac. As you can see you can rotate this palette (theres a little button at the right bottom corner of it). You rotate it the way you want it and get then the address, for example: http://www.colourlovers.com/paletteImg/F1EAA8/95B1B1/Shut_up_and_Smoke!.png?angle=1. Of cause you can adjust width and height as usual. Good luck! :) ![]() ![]() ![]() Vickyvic Vickyvic wrote: 2 Months Ago

So this is probably a dumb question...but I'm trying to post my first multiblend and I can't figure it out :(. "To get the link for that all you have to do is right click on the image of your palette and click "copy image location" and then just use "ctrl + v" to paste the link after where it says "img src=" with in the code and make sure you get it between the quotes" I can't figure out how to do this - when I right click on my palette is says copy or copy shortcut...not copy image location...I tried the other two but they didn't work. And when posting it do you post it all together, onepattern badge after the other?? Thanks so much!
ETA: Nevermind - I figured it out, this is awesome!! ![]() ![]() |
