i suggested "Cities" some time ago
found some interesting links about Cities famous for their colours
Jodphur, Jaipur, Amber City, Marrakesh
Thira/Fira, Valparaiso, Venice
another interesting aspect could be:
colours named after cites like e.g. Paris Green, Siena, Berlin Blue....

I had a new IF word ready to go taken from earlier suggestions but I was going to wait for Friday so that the last one had been up for an even two weeks - should I just post a new one now, I didn't want to be pushy and I keep thinking Anna might be back at any moment!??

Something on animals seems to be quite popular for next but I'm not sure what everyone means by 'candyland' ....

I would expect colors similar to Ice Cream (IF6) or IF50 Disney

I know we did music, but it seems like it was mostly artists and recordings. What about musical instruments? Also cars were mentioned earlier, I kind of like that.

What about... books? Book covers? Libraries???

Bugs - We didn't do bugs but we do have 'Beetle'

Sweets - I love this idea but wasn't sure if it was covered by 'Food' - I think there is a lot of scope for a separate category myself but...?

Zombie - Like this too but would we be better with 'Undead' as there are wider possibilities?

1960's - That could be good! (Tzadkiel has a whole collection of Warhol / Factory inspired palettes already!!!!

Cosmetics/Beauty Industry - Well we've only got 'Fall Fashion', 'Magazine', 'Hair' and 'Eyes' so far so....

Kitsch - I never really know how that's defined? (although I guess who cares right?, maybe it's a just matter of opinion!)

Brazil, India, Morocco, French Provençal etc - Maybe covered by 'Travel' and 'Cities' already?

And when I pointed out the specific countries, I meant the cultures in general. Like Indian culture and different aspects of India. Wasn't the travel IF for cities and travel destinations only rather than culture-specific?

Whhatt...who said they weren't awesome? my 'some' is totally 'awed'....

Cities and Travel can be anything, culture or otherwise - still doesn't mean we can't pick a specific country anyhow ... so again...'awesome suggestions dude'..... .;-)

I like the individual countries. There is so much material there. Like look at all the stuff in the Japan pages. Endless material and so much to learn!

Well I've been trying to set up IF words to keep us going in Anna's absence based solely on any suggestion I can spot that has had a couple of mentions but there's not much of a consensus so it's a bit hard.... (...and I'd be really, really happy if it wasn't me that had to decide!)

I reckon the best way is to draw up a suggestions list and get people to vote - we can put a link through from the main thread... in terms of specific countries I make it Brazil, India and Morocco up for inclusion on the list so far... were there any more you want on there?

I quite like the idea of individual countries too by the way so I might also suggest China , although I like the ones you've suggested already....(I guess some are likely to be more inspiring than others, I've been compiling a list of crime fiction around the globe and I still bump into countries I've never even heard of!!!)
