CAMG What Is it?

Basically its a fun tool for creating Motion Palettes/Patterns, Multi-blends, Image blending, Extended Palettes, CL Profile Pimping and any thing else i can throw in there. While the CAMG was designed for use for ColourLovers Palettes it is not limited to just that, you can use any color badges, color swatches, pattern badge, pattern swatch or any image on the net. The CAMG also has inbuilt effects which can be applied to the global images or local images.

CAMG Features
As there is not really anything like CAMG it is best to describe its features by way of demonstrations, so lets take a look at this Colorlovers palette.

Adding Images to CAMG (Pulling Images)
A pulled image means to grab an image by right clicking on the image and selecting "Save image location" OR "Copy image location" this depends on what browser you are using. To add the image to a web-page you would then apply the HTML code, however CAMG will do the second part "the coding" for you. All you have to do is pull the image and paste it into CAMG.

Pulling Swatches
You can take this one step further and pull the images from the color pages and create color swatches. You can then adjust the widths to recreate the palette. You can also add HTML links to the color pages or palette page. If you mouse over the CAMG palette below you will see the colors link to the colors pages..

Global Dimension Settings
Of course if you wanted to make the palette look more like it did in COPASO you can change the dimensions if required. CAMG has Global Dimension Settings that can control all your images widths and heights in one place. This makes it a breeze to change the dimensions of any number of images or effects at one time and in one place.

Extended Palettes
What is an extended palette? An extended palette is just a name for a palette that has more than 5 colors. In CAMG you can easily add more colors to create "Extended Palettes"

Motion Palettes
In CAMG you can apply effects to your palettes and can create "Motion Palettes"

Multi-blends made simple and fast
Multi-blends are simple and easy to make in CAMG this one "TVRs Be Series" (one of my favorite series) took all of 1 minute to make.

Motion Patterns
In CAMG you are not limited to just adding motion to Palettes or Color Swatches you can also add motion to Patterns.

Limitless Images and Effects
There is no limit to the number of images or effects in CAMG. The only limit is your imagination or the web page or database displaying the motion palette or pattern.

Profile Pimping
There have been multiple requests on information on how I have done various things to my profile. CAMG can do a complex layout for your CL Profile simply by using the project templates inside of CAMG these include

CL Profile Badge Replace - Replace you profile image with a motion palette, pattern, multi-blend or any image you want.
CL Profile Side Scroll - Sideways Scrolling giving you extra clear space to the right of your profile (eg the detour i had in my profile)
Max Profile Width - Extends the width of your profile space from CLs default 510px to 549px. This allows you to place a background in your profile box with no white space margins.
