GUIDELINES
Everyday a member is chosen randomly using the random chooser to become the CL artist of the day!
CLAD time is CST.
NB:
If you use an IFRC palette: Tag it also ANYRC page
If it's a 1 lover palette, tag it also 1LP

HOW TO SUBMIT
1a) Tag you creations: CLAD (+ CLADlover's name could be useful too )
This enables to search & sort CLAD items (example: RUBYVILLASENOR+CLAD)
1b) Add the CLAD badge
On each CLAD page, you should see a link to the CLAD badge code to copy
1c) Check the group checkbox
Once joined to the group, the group checkbox appears
2) Post your item, and the used palette, to the CLAD's page of the day
Multiple challenge tagging: Some items may fit several challenges. f so separate tags by commas (eg.: CLAD, 1LP, ANYRC)
If you use an IFRC palette: Tag it also ANYRC page
If it's a 1 lover palette, tag it also 1LP
This enables us to see if the member understands and has participated
BUT DO NOT TAG CLAD OR SUBMIT NON CLAD ITEMS!!
See items tagged CLAD - See items submitted using the group check-box.
To discourage abuse: Please avoid loving non CLAD submissions -Thanks

A ) GET THE AVATAR:
Avatar images as you see in the sidebar here on the right are not simply embedded images, dragging and dropping the image to the desktop does not work.
What you can do:
1 ) Use the big image on the profile page by simply copying the image URL (right click on the image -> copy image location)
2 ) Get the custom avatar - See: How to get the avatar image
(or you can try finding existing avatar images here)
3 ) Not use a custom avatar - use the generic avatar versions (see below)

I make lots of errors, knowing the above you can access the editable version of the code and correct my badges!

SOME CONSIDERATIONS SUGGESTING A NEW CLAD
The CLAD is chosen amongst the active members* of this group. The CLAD is selected using a RANDOM CHOOSER
A list of all the active members that have not yet been CLAD is entered and the random chooser decides who will it will be.
Some considerations:
1)* - Is the member an active CLAD member? - Has the lover participated ?
CLAD wouldn't work if everybody expected to receive without giving.
+ Some members seem to join many groups without looking what it's all about.
Since no new CLADs have been posted for a few months we are relaxing the rules for the relaunch to include any member who is active on CL and who has not yet been CLAD, other criteria still apply
THAT'S WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TAG YOUR ITEMS 'CLAD'
To see if someone has participated we search tag+name.
Example:
patterns CLAD+ name: bmarchelle
palettes CLAD+ name: bmarchelle
NB: You may find non CLAD items tagged CLAD - please check feather

2) - Does the lover have enough palettes?
in case of new members, better wait if the lover has only 3 palettes
3) - Are there chances that the lover will be online today?
If the lover you wish to suggest hasn't been online for 3 days - maybe he/she's on holidays?
Once a potential CLAD is chosen, better re-check and see when he/she was last online.

- Exceptionally, for special occasions, we have elected non CLAD members.
In this case consider: Will the lover be pleased to be the CLAD?
NB: If you have joined and do not wish to be CLAD please say so (leave a comment or send a not to Dawn)
MEMBERS

Members who have already been chosen for CLAD have been removed - Members who are not active on CL or in this Group or who do not yet have enough palettes to qualify will remain on the list but will not be confirmed as a CLAD choice until their status changes - please check the above considerations for more information - thanks

CLAD = Colour Lover Artist of the Day
Everyday an active group member* is chosen randomly to be the Artist of the day - This lover becomes the CLAD.On this day, you are encouraged to visit the CLAD's profile page, explore their palettes and colours and dig out their under-loved master pieces.
1. Make patterns using their palettes
2. Make a 1LP palette using only their colours
3. Use one of their templates to create a pattern
The idea is to showcase the CLAD's work, have some fun and spread a little love.
Don't forget to post your creations to the relevant CLAD page
And when your CLAD day comes, we'll do the same to you! ...It's kind of an exchange! =)
