Though I haven't been COLOURloving for long, I've found the lack of .SVG or .GPL exports frustrating for those of us who use free or open source software.
So I did it myself. The app is available at equipa.hipercubo.net/joao/TINYexporter and it generates SVG images or a GPL pallete (for the GIMP/Inkscape) with the pallete colours.
I hope this doesn't upset the management, I'll gladly give you guys the source code and take down my app (which is consuming some of my bandwidth), just send me an email or message.
Quick how to:
- Go to the pallete page
- Copy the address
- Paste it onto the text input on TINYexporter
- Press your desired output
- Save to disk

Great app, only thing I'd say is the interface could be cleared up a bit - it's not entirely clear at first which buttons you press to get the .gpl or the .svg. But it works fabulously!
Just out of curiosity, are you releasing the app under the GFDL/GPL or a CC-license? If you choose one of these (CC license probably makes more sense, easier to provide a link than the entire text of the GFDL!) COLOURlovers can use the app and you still retain copyright and get attribution ;)
Thanks again, love it!

Thank you for your love.
I haven't had any time to get the licensing, terms and disclaimer up there. In fact, I just hacked this together in a couple of hours and would definitely prefer to have the option in COLOURlovers instead of having it in a separate website.
I'm licensing all available files with the BSD license.
Also, I'm not releasing the code yet since COLOURlovers may want to integrate it.
As for the interface, you're right. I think I'll add some colourful arrows to guide users around.
love,
João
