Will there be a way to download patterns for Illustrator or Photoshop in the future?
Also, will it be possible to submit new patterns in the form of an Illustrator vector pattern file? These would be useful features. ![]() ![]() ![]() klip klip wrote: 10 Dec, 2007
yes to both these. Especially for members contributing more pattern templates. ![]() ![]() ![]() COLOURlov… COLOURlover wrote: 10 Dec, 2007
Hello, Yes we plan no adding more... lots more. And you're all more than welcome to submit patterns you've created and would like to share with us.
1.) They have to be patterns you created. 2.) They need to be able to tile, also known as seamless patterns. 3.) We need then in .ai or .svg format. Thanks and I hop you're all having fun playing with the patterns. ![]()

A lot of those patterns are squidfinger patterns, I've seen no credit around for them though. Kudos on the new design and functions here on colourlovers. ![]() ![]() ![]() lesaint lesaint wrote: 13 Dec, 2007
D,
Any more guidelines for submitting patters? What about aspect ratio for the tile? Square? Or? ![]() ![]() ![]() SkyWookie… SkyWookiee wrote: 13 Dec, 2007

What (if any) free programs are supported? I have GIMP and DrawIt (Mac). ![]()

I sent one in .ai format CS3 a few days a go and asked if I should send it CS2 or CS but haven't received a reply, yet. If you don't like the pattern, will you let us know? Or will we & all connected questions, be ignored? I'd rather you say you hated it then be ignored FYI.
There does need to be a LOT more patterns though, and in my opinion, an easier and more defined way to submit them. ;-) ![]() ![]() |
