I keep seeing great images in the comments sidebar, and wanting to use them to make my own palette. In order to do so, if it is an older image, I have to re-upload the image to PHOTOCOPA. (If the image was just uploaded, of course I can find it in the gallery.) It would be so much nicer, and less cluttery, if we had a button to take us to make a palette. I don't know how you'd consolidate all those palettes that actually use the same image, but via different uploads though.

ALSO! Allow those who uploaded the image to include a link to the origin of the image in the descripton as well. So, allow the uploader to edit? Maybe? Please? =)

Here's how to do it for now:

How to open an existing photocopa image in PHOTOCOPA

We can share images in photocopa

If you see an image you like check out it's ID in the URL

example for the right pic:
the URL is

http://www.colourlovers.com/photocopa/113818/Unnamed_Photo

the pic ID is 113818

Now if you want to load it in photocopa, just add
l/i/ (Lima -slash- India -slash )
in front of the ID number (+ [ENTER] to validate) :

In short:
Photo page:
http://www.colourlovers.com/photocopa/113818/Unnamed_Photo

Same pic in PHOTOCOPA:
http://www.colourlovers.com/photocopa/l/i/113818/Unnamed_Photo

from this page in this very helpful group.

The tutorial that YCC made is very helpful indeed. I use the /l/i/ trick too.
I also agree with that there needs to be a click through to Photocopa hyperlink.

1. The point of faving the image is to be able to use it.
2. It's not really up to us to develop the solutions.
3. It's a simple hyperlink add.

My sincerest apologies for not posting this in the proper place but the "bugs" thread is not letting me post.

For some reason a whole heap of stuff doesn't seem to be working properly. Noone's palettes/patterns are showing up on their profiles, just the bio and recent comments, I can't edit anything and none of the drop down menus are working.

Is this happening to anyone else or is it just me?

I just love this. The peachy colours look so calming and serene and then there's the grey and the turquoise which gives off a 50's feel (which I just love on its own). It's a perfect colour palette for this summer.
