I think that use of a color in palettes and patterns should affect its ranking. Right now if a color is used in dozens of patterns and palettes, but happens to have no explicit loves, will be ranked under an obscure, unused color that just so happens to have one love. In fact, it will be ranked as a completely ignored color.

This effect wouldn't have to displace majorly the influence of loves and favorites, but it should by all mean be accounted for in the algorithm!

I really like this idea! I've come across so many colors that are used in a lot of palettes, yet they have no loves, which is sad (to me). I try to do my part by loving them, but one love doesn't do a whole lot. So I wholeheartedly agree with you that usage should count for at least some of the ranking. :)

Yes, please! Maybe incorporate it into palettes that use said color(s) as well?

My sincerest apologies for not posting this in the proper place but the "bugs" thread is not letting me post.

For some reason a whole heap of stuff doesn't seem to be working properly. Noone's palettes/patterns are showing up on their profiles, just the bio and recent comments, I can't edit anything and none of the drop down menus are working.

Is this happening to anyone else or is it just me?

I just love this. The peachy colours look so calming and serene and then there's the grey and the turquoise which gives off a 50's feel (which I just love on its own). It's a perfect colour palette for this summer.
