Or at least warn us newbs you can't!

I have some photos stuck in there now that I don't want there. I wanted those photos (that I took Myself) to be exclusively on my DeviantArt. I didn't know I wouldn't be able to get rid of them. :<

Also, I'm sorry if there's already a topic like this. I looked and didn't find one.

I wouldn't worry about it. There are so many photos on Photocopa that yours will rarely be seen again, if ever.

MissGibbon

I just wish there was a way to see all of them and organize them. :P

TheInvisible

Agreed. Same thing has happened to me - made the mistake of using some of my DA images in Photocopa and now they're there for all to see, and use. No attribution, no copyright notice, nothing. *HYPERVENTILATE*

yeah - they do get burried quickly

I think why you can't delete is the same reason as for pattern templates - once you put it online anybody can use it - so if someone creates a palettes based on your photo... well that person won't have an image anymore if you delete it.

Bottom line: careful with anything you put online - this is valid for everywhere online - if it doesn't say private clearly, expect it to be public.

Taking this directly from the comment above the photocopa image section:

"Load up your own photo from anywhere on the web and add it to the gallery for others to use as inspiration or keep it private for only your use."

So...there should be a way to keep it private...

I'm having the same problem. I would like to use photocopa and not have the photo inspiration attached to the palette - any progress on this one, friends?

thx

GabsGiggles

In that case you can use COPASO instead of PHOTOCOPA.

As far as I can tell, COPASO doesn't let you zoom in on an image to select colors. Sure, you can pixelate but you're still very limited. When I really don't want something out there I use Color Schemer (no, I don't own stock). It's a great program and I can save palettes without uploading them right away - perfect for when I'm creating and arranging storytelling palettes.
