But I am also a practical creature and I would like to use this site for sorting colors and testing. Unfortunately it doesn't offer too much from this point of view cause is based mostly on socializing than organizing.
So to get to my point, these are the things I would love to see:
- I would like to see what palettes have been colored with a certain pattern - like you can see for a template pattern(the search after a color is a pain and not very helpful for a full palette).
- I would love a more friendly sorting interface cause I want to organize my palettes and colors the way I want, not based on who loves them or latest, specially for the loved and favorite ones that you cannot tag yourself.
- a way larger window for pattern picking in the "create pattern interface", those little icons gives you no clue what's inside and the search is broken(you cannot pass the first page for same query)
I edited to add some more:
- this site web page needs to have the % widths, or at least the central part
- searching and browsing needs to show up with more than 15 palettes, or at least have the 50-200 palettes display, there are way too many palettes to stay like this.

Search one of the colours - I generally chose one that hasn't been use in an other palette.
example :
This palette
uses this colour - and my palette is the only one to use it (or if all the colours are used by other palettes, I choose the one where there's the least, and preferably with a big date difference)
so I search for patterns using #05059C

I've never tried but there's : Group > settings > Broadcast
In the to section it says ' -- Group Broadcast. Usernames are already accounted for --'

Merge all the search pages into one so we can easily switch from one to the other
with advanced search options like Google - search palettes, patterns, forums, blogs...
with options such as date, exact phrase, exclude...
AND the great GREAT things would be able to search palettes/patterns by hues rang - like for color now..
a colour wheel where we can select an area would be easier than sliders.. I think?
+ Saturation and Value options in copaso

Now we need blog search...and color of the year search. (of course meanwhile we can using google advanced options)

So many times I saw lovely palettes I can't reach because of this... and when I try to turn the pages, it gets updated at the same time and I see the same ones I saw previously.

-I would love if the code insert version of the 'badge' of the page you were on was also available as a tiny icon next to the text styles and link insert buttons. It would save so much scrolling & copy/paste mishaps when pasting multiple badges! It would be even better if it was the short form version (The one CL trims it to if you post it on CL) to save visual clutter in the comment box.
-I would love the ability to create a small customized text field/message immediately above the comment form on my own page (but below all of the 'top palettes' and most recent comments). Possible uses: to ask people not to post thank you notes/badges, to thank for comments (without creating exponential spam!), warn for absences, etc. Would be super useful, and a nice way to maybe trim down the visual overload in my notification feed. (I've tried, for example, asking people not to post badges at the top of my page, but I think a lot of people pagedown straight to the bottom.)
-I would love an opt-out button on threads, both in groups and here on the forums. Right now, once you have posted, you will receive all messages that follow, even if (for instance) the thread thereafter degrades from a polite conversation to several pages of vitriolic incoherence.
- Notifications are tricky. ...I usually have to scroll back to page 8-14 when I log in to try and pick up where I left off, and once you have opened the second page, nothing is marked as 'new' anymore. I open the first page, go to the bottom, and then open all following pages in new tabs; go to page eight and keep doing the same thing until I arrive in familiar territory. Then I work my way backwards to the beginning. I still like it much better than the old nested version, but I always wonder if it could be a little easier, somehow?
Actually, there's something specific about notifications. If I opt out of, say 'Follows', I can't see them in the 'Follows' submenu, either. I think it would be awesome if we could remove it from our primary notification stream, but still see it under it's own heading, rather than not logging follows at all.
- In love notes, I would really like to be able to create a 'reply-to' folder. I don't always have the time to reply when I get them, and then I end up losing them. (I know that this is a reflection on myself, not the mail system, but it doesn't mean I wouldn't love a little help!)
- I think the pattern colourizer could really use an overhaul. ...Are there any plans for this in the works? I have lots of ideas, and I'm sure others do too. If you do plan on changing it at some point, maybe have a suggestion box in the forum as part of the process?
Thanks just for reading!

Maybe they could make it so that we could delete notifications, like we can do with love notes?

Since there are so many great palettes created by the community, with people ALREADY coloring them with palettes created by other people, it would be awesome to see a section like "Patterns Created from this Palette" under each palette. ....Then you can see what people have done with palettes created. This can be used a good resource to help us visualize how such a palette could be applied.
Does this view already exist? If not, can we have it?! It would make creating palettes so much more meaningful!

1. When creating a pattern have the Pattern Template link directly to the TEMPLATE.
It is hard to find templates especially when someone has made so many if you don't know what the title is.
2. When you download Pattern image it still does not give the same credit as given on the pattern license.
3. Group admin rights to delete patterns tagged as in the group but have no relevance.
4. Have a section for My Top Templates (option)
