I would like there to be a way to see who has loved your work.. now i know there is something already but it only lets you see x amount of loves.. and i know i miss people.. but i would like to thank them.

It made sense to me. This is a great idea! Maybe add a Thank You button to the notifications and have it send a new type of notification "NAME has thanked you for your love" (or fave, gift, use of COLOR/TEMPLATE/PALETTE, etc.).

You mean like for follows in the sidebar of palette/pattern pages ?

I'm not sure I understood. Would that be a step from automating the whole thing. like an option 'automatically send thank yous'?

Have you noticed you can view loves separately in the notifications? (see here)

Automatic thank you doesn't seem very sincere and it might become rather spammy (or bacn (sp?)). But a button similar to the love button on the creation's page (color, palette, etc.) in that you click it and it thanks someone.

I haven't really thought much about this one, but I found the suggestion on the forum and thought it sounded like a good idea. It just needs a more detailed description. I made a group to discuss the new feature ideas so that the admin don't have to read so many comments (maybe they will read about more ideas in a shorter period of time if the requests are specific and without so much extra commentary.

In case anyone wanted to know, the group is called Passion for ColourLovers.

The button could send a new sort of message thingy (similar to the buttons on the toolbar thing at the top of the page that tell you when you have a new love note or notification). Maybe they could call it simply: "Thanks".

A LOVE THAT YOU LOVE IT button or list feature in Notification settings or an html badge you could send in a message...? This thread is rather old and all, but I am wondering whatever came of this suggestion?

Also, OCD-ness is my main enemy and therefore I apologize if a few min of focus could have answered this - I just don't have the focal strength mastered yet and am wondering if there is any way to delete messages in Notification thread? If I could check some off (which I see no way for doing - actually this also applies to deleting or re-arranging usernames to other sites on my profile page) - ah-hem... I was saying: if I could go thru and check off & either SAVE in a separate folder or delete them I could much better know what thanks to send or which ones are new and have not been acknowledged yet - Phew! that was a lot. I will likely be sending a love note with similar (yet clearer) communicae so if you appear at this one AFTER reading a Love Note from me today, just might be a good idea to ignore this jibberish. Oh! But not the first question, please, that started this whole mess of words!
