Have a great idea for a new feature or hate the way something works? Let us know. Community editable palettes

I think it would be nice to be able to be able to open up a palette for the community to make edits. For example, you create a palette, and on publishing check a box that says something like "allow community edits". When other members view the palette they will see the "edit palette" button like you do on your own palettes. They can revise the palette and republish it under their username. I think it would speed up "critique this palette" requests, "here's my corporate colors can you add 2 highlights", or even facilitate giant remix threads. Any thoughts or suggestions? ![]()

Side thought - if a person edits a community editable palette, their remixed palette must also be open to edits (no way to uncheck the box), and possibly include an attribution to the palette they edited (?). ![]()

Very cool idea, but I definitely would want to be able to see the original or any other edits made on it. Good thinking sero*! ![]()

Wouldn't it be great if each palette could be shown in the About This Palette Box. First, the original palette, then the first variation, etc. I think this would be programmable. Might get mighty long, though ... ![]() ![]() |
