it is easy enough to send 5 more requests, one for each hex value to #get color, but it hardly seems more efficient than a few more bytes in the initial communique. am i missing some magic?

my present blockage: not providing color titles in the same breath as hex values. 1 palette request with a few more bytes seems more optimal than requiring 5 additional HTTP interchanges for the same equivalent information

if i'm missing something crucial please explain because i;d be happy to know.

The way the CL API works, you would have to make a request for the palette, which will return the hex values. Then, you would have to make an individual request for each color value.

The whole colour v. color is just in the name. The community's name is COLOURlovers but when they wrote the API they used "color" for everything.
