I would like some help on ceiling colors. Part of our home has 18' ceilings, the rest are 9-10 foot.

Our wall colors are earth tones,mocha, latte, and off white with a strong yellow tint.

I would like to try something other that ceiling white.

Any ideas?

I love painted walls and celings, as long as they coordinate, it will look great.
I would suggest some magazines for inspiration as well, I have folders for ideas in different categories (told you I love this :)


Here's one I made contrasty, I had the cranberry in the old kitchen, and it looked great, but I would recommend the blue for the high ceilings

Here's a way more neutral one, would look great in sunshine and candlelight

What immediately came to mind for me was black. I know that sounds weird... Or perhaps a dark brown that fits your scheme. I've seen some very cool black ceilings though...

what's wrong with continuing the wall colour on the ceiling? that can work, especially with vaulted high ceilings.
