There are some here that I'd like to subscribe to, to get palettes, patterns and love note alerts. On the other hand, those generating a blizzard of colors make it hard to keep up. I have to enter each color to clear the red "New Love Notes" notification, and can't get much else done. I told one that I'd have to unsubscribe, and she told me she'd let me know when the fever subsided. I do like to keep the New Love Notes clear, so that I can catch a new one with peripheral vision. There's another thread here about subscribing to comments. They could also get into the overwhelming category, but maybe the subscribe request could come with a check/tick mark button box with choices for your subscribe filter.
____________ + Subscribe ALL (includes everything below) * Love Notes Colors * Palettes * Patterns Comments ____________ That sample would be for Love Notes, Palettes and Patterns only. This would also make it easy to add/subtract other choices as they come up in this forum discussion. As in other sites I have seen, also have an option "ALL" for all choices, which supersedes the others, for those that wish to be buried in the avalanche. That option would be as subscribe exists now, for love notes, colors, palettes and patterns (and whatever else). ![]()

yup i completely agree, getting lots of lovenotes for new colours is the reason i don't subscribe to anyone. would love to just be able to subscribe to a person's palettes :) ![]()

If I start a series with a massive amount of colors, now it would be a courtesy to tell any subscribers to unsubscribe. (1) Some may be on at different times of the day. I can always leave a message and wait a day, I suppose. (2) I could have ghost subscribers, and not even know who they are. ![]() ![]() ![]() matthew95 matthew95 wrote: 15 Jun, 2008

Is there someplace I can check to see everyone who is subscribed to me, or is it just that I would know about anyone who happened to tell me? ![]()

A hearty 'hear hear' to retsof's idea, and echoing Matthew's comment -- how / do we know who's subscribed to us? ![]()

I unsubcribed from everyone. Had to. All I get notifications for now is love notes, which you get from all even without a subscribe request. ![]() ![]() ![]() Dia Dia wrote: 16 Jun, 2008
Actually, retsof, I think you can unsubscribe from your own palettes -- there's a button for it right next to the "edit this page" button. I think that'll turn off the comments, but you'd have to do it for every single palette (and colour) manually... depends on how much you hate your fan mail, I guess.
