Tried several browsers.. Safari IE and Mozilla, and it's all the same, when I try to save, it won't let me send any data. Anyone's got this problem too?

I'm guessing that the system is asking you to add the colors that are not in the system, but you may need to scroll back up the screen to see the alerts.

I just added a palette on my mac.

Let me know if you scroll up after clicking add and don't see any alerts.

Thanks... What browser do you use?

Create-a-color doesn't work either... see what happens is when I click "add pallette" or "add color" ...nothing happens. No alert or data sent :(

Hmm... we've tested the palette maker on Macs and it works for me in FF 2.0 and Safari. I'm on a MacBook... what are you surfing with.

I noticed that you were able to create palettes before... was that on the same computer you're not able to make them with now?

Nope, that was on a PC.. everything worked fine on PC :)

When using Mac I'm on Safari 1.2.2 and Firefox 2.0.0.3 on a OS 10.3.4 G4 ... maybe I'll update my browsers to newer versions and see how it goes...

i'm on a mac using firefox and it works fine for me, but whats reeeeally annoying, is that while i'm moving the selector thingy around, the "click and hold" menu for firefox pops up and i've occasionally lost a palette by accidentally hitting "back" on said menu.

i'm sure there's nothing you guys can do to help that though:(

I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.3 on an old grey G4 tower running OS 10.3.9 and have no problems making colours or palettes.

I'm normally on a pc when I'm on the internet, but my design tool of choice is my mac. I've made palettes on my husband's g4 powerbook using safari with no problems. I used to have trouble logging in from there, though, but when the new site went up that problem went away. I just prefer the pc for this site because I don't like the laptop's screen. The colours change depending on how far open or closed you have it!

ok my problem is a little different but I'm on a mac, I can't see any of the pallet thumbnails, or any patterns, what's weird is they showed up fine the first time I visited this website, I guess I'll try safari, Edit: ok safari works

Which browser were you using that lacked the palettes and patterns?

Since we're all having a mac chat here, I thought I'd throw my little occurrence into the ring - I was creating a palette and I named the new colors when prompted ..but it would never send the data. I only had this problem with this one palette, for some reason, as I have submitted many others since my initial try. Thinking it was because of the browser, I tried both Safari and Opera... still no luck.

Frustrated, I decided to just make a pattern of the colors instead For some reason, that worked just fine..and after that, I was able to make a palette just fine.

I theorize that either
1. There was a missing color from the 'colors that need to be named' list. I don't recall for sure if that was the case (as I wold have had no way of really knowing at the time if it was already created here...I had just joined when I made my first attempt) I don't see why that would cause the trouble, either..but .. I ..don't quite understand what else it could have been. :a

2. Something is on I have no clue about.


I've had no other problems since then, but I thought I'd just mention that. (by the way, this is the palette in question, if ti helps?)

i cant change the colors in the patterns. like it will work the first time i click it but then after it doesnt work like nothing happens :[ its pissing me off.

Try double-clicking the color. If I understand right, it'll work then. :)

Hmmm I had the same problem as vampire - editing a colour in a pattern using Firefox on a mac. At home (on my pc) no problems.

That's real strange. I just went to see if the same thing would happen to me and I could change the colors fine. I'm on a Macbook Pro running Leopard in Safari. Firefox works fine too. :/

I have, sometimes, had the same problem.

I'm having the same problem. I was able to add one color and since then nothing. When I create a color and select "add" it finds someone elses color and wont let me add that either. I have one color and that's it. So bummed I can't participate.... whah. :-(
