I check out the Forums every day. I will look at a post, say, and then go back to the list of items in that forum, and eventually go back to the All Forums page. Just recently I've noticed that It may take me several attempts to go all the way back.

Say, for example, I look at Post XYZ in Sharing the Love, then back up to the list of posts in Sharing the Love, then I try to go back to the All Forums page, but instead I'm returned to the Post XYZ again. This may happen a couple of times, and then I'll finally get back to the top. Like I say, this has only been happening recently.

I'm using Firefox 3.5.5 on a Windows XP machine. In order to get back to the previous screen, I either press the Back button on my browser, or I use a button on my programmable Logitech mouse which I've set to Back. The problem has happened with both Back buttons.

Yes, this occasionally happens to me, too. It doesn't appear to be OS or browser specific, though, because I run a 10.4 PPC Power Mac G4 with Safari 4.0.3.

Now it's happening in other places, too, not just in the Forums. Very disconcerting.
