Strange - I never had nor heard about this before..
I'm using a friends^'s PC (windows) because my mac is at the hospital

On some pages when I want to edit a comment the characters have become garbage


If I use 'reply' I can get the content back but all the hex codes have become RGB (which is annoying to copy & input in the color wheel)

anybody know what it could be?

On this comment - I can edit!
Seems it's generally in group pages.

I used to get jibberish occasionally when posting or replying on the 5-Word Story Palette Game group, moderated by Artspectrum. I think the group was disbanded so that's not going to help much is it?

I know it's something to do with the encoding - looks like the garbage I get when I open a a file with the wrong encoding... But I never saw it suddenly change in the middle of a page!

OK - I think I found out why HTML errors
It just happened on a new page - it went away when I corrected the error

Except the error expands to the next comment. The 1st error was on the 2nd comment - I had to correct all the other ones below - one after the other

OK - this time I decided to say it:

I use the Mac system wide adblocker: Glims and when there's 'securepubads.g.doubleclick.net' ads - the sidebar doesn't load.
It's like the page obliges me to load them or I don't get no sidebar... and it won't give up!
...and me neither! =P

and I can't edit comments if the sidebar doesn't load..
This only happens with Chrome - what can I do apart change browser? and wait until those certain ads change?

oooh - groups search results- the sidebar is at the bottom of the page!

Using FF 3.6.13 on Vista - but I just now tried it with browser labs - shows the same thing

The page half disappeared? @@

and it's not just that page - it's the whole group!

I posted a comment and it disappeared!!
a simple comment - no block tags

I think we're in the middle of a code push, maybe?

I miss that group! I created Palette Tells a Story to replace it, but it will never really be the same. This group is doing much better though. :-)

My Seamless Studio stopped working! Seems I have the exact same problem as Peaches6 (see below) I also have Windows 7, latest updates, and it worked well for a while on same PC when I first installed it, but then started crashing. The crashes boot me off Windows and force a restart. They occur most often when I'm working with streaming video, and the crashes stop when I uninstall. When I reinstall they start again and with increased in frequency. Now I have nothing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, Seamless and my task manager say the program is installed and running. When I click, there is no visual.. Please help!

Peaches6- did you have any other problems with Seamless before the no-go? Did you find a solution?

In the last week, I have bought Seamless Studio twice.I download, get my key (I have 3) CC & P it in place, get the green check mark and click on complete registration. Then, the software opens, however, NOTHING happens. I cannot click on anything. It won't even close the program! After paying $29.00 and another $19.00, sure would like to have software that works as it should. My computer runs Windows 7 and I have the newest version of Firefox. I have this same program on this computer before and it worked great. Thanking you now for helping with this. Peaches6
