Thanks to our good friends at www.myflashfetish.com we now have a facebook app:

It isn't up in the public directory yet, since we're still fine tuning... but you should be able to enter your username and choose what columns you want to show... then it will show 5 from each column.

Let me know how it goes...

When I try to log in there I get this:

login.new.facebook.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is only valid for www.facebook.com.

(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)


Is that normal?

I'm confused? I added it and now I can put in my username and edit my profile but I can't do anything on it, it just takes me back to my profile :(

I would love to be able to display my favorite palettes- is that going to be possible?

It may be just a glitch, are you using the new or the old facebook?

Are you using HTTPS to log in? Try logging in from a URL that has http:// (not https://) at the start, for example http://www.facebook.com/.

I guess you're using Firefox 3? (There's a new FF3 setting to disable that warning -- it's enabled by default.)

I doubt it's the app's fault, anyway.

There is a little glitch in that it only works with new.facebook.... but they should be making a move for all profiles to new very soon. And yes, we hope to have favorites in there soon... it wasn't in the API when we built this.

Top Patterns

But it shows only

Top colors, palettes and patterns and I guess it's offline as I speak.

Yeah, I like the old facebook better personally, however, when I added the app, it automatically changed me to the new one. I guess it isn't so bad because now I have CL on there ;)

I'm having trouble getting it, when I click on that link it takes me to a page but it's blank. All I can see on it is the words "Page built by COLOURlovers" but nothing loads on it, there's not a link to add it or anything. I'm on the new facebook too...I don't know what's wrong?

It's in a tab, so, when you go to your profile page you should see a tab that says colourlovers, click on it and you should be able to select what you want. It took a couple of tries to get mine to show up (and getting used to the new system).

Mine was working for a while, but I see what you're talking about. Today when I tried clicking on the tab, it says "Not Found
The requested URL /COLOURlovers/tabs.php was not found on this server."

I finally got this working, but I was wondering if it supports widths?

Same problem to me... I'd like if they make it as a box, and not only as a tab!!! I can`t wait to have CL in Facebook.

strange but today I could see the tab, still would prefer the box though. and if only I could put the patterns I prefer ;)
