Our school colors are black and gold (927b4c) - can someone help me figure out some nice colors I can use along with this gold color in a website? I'd like some brighter colors if possible, and I am definitely color-challenged. How/where can I figure out some colors that will go well with this gold color???? ![]() ![]() ![]() fotter fotter wrote: 9 Jul, 2008
Stick with dark colours like navy blue, bordeaux red (dark red brown), olive green/brown, dark purple. If you want to be on the save side.
With the colours I mentioned above you can always use white and ivory. Gold is a typical heraldic colour. So you might want to google for heraldic colours. Another great appliction is colorschemer Studio. It shows you complementary colours, schemes and sugestions. I think this app will help you a lot. Download a trial at: http://www.colorschemer.com I hope this will help you. Frans ![]()
