I'm sorry you lost so many, it must be frustrating.
The mandala one (post no. 2, picture no. 2) seems interesting, though I think I'd like it better if the shapes were of different sizes ( oh, me and my picky nature :) .)

Ow. The loss of this one is really tragic; it's such a clever design! I really like the use of the zigzag as a divider, very dynamic. Great use of shapes (the tails seem especially inspired!). I also like that you've balanced the chimera in such a believable and organic way; I can really imagine the odd, bobbing way it would move.
The background gradient is awesome, too. (Sending you love and sympathy!)
...It's a good thing tiny people are so lovable, or not many of us would ever have made it to adulthood.
I am so sorry you lost such beautiful and detailed work! (But I am not sorry that I will not bump into ranks of these staring at me when I check new patterns. I am such an arachnophobe!)
...I never see this info. When I click save, everything happens so fast in the status bar that I can never actually read anything. :(

I look forward to it! (And in the meantime, I feel your pain.)

OMG, must be so hart breaking and discouraging! =(
When I lose a pattern I took time making and liked, I can be discouraged for days... and not make any.
Is that your case?

How are things going?
Any news?
PureForm
For our international lovers, we translated the site into several languages. Once V4 rolled around, we decided to turn them off due to:
- Horrible translations -- one Chinese translation we had for "man" translated to "Tired Horse" -- not even close! Though, sometimes I can empathize when fixing bugs.
- We had so much new content in V4 that the translations would have taken me months.
We plan on bringing back the translations we had [and many more] once we can be sure that what we have is not only accurate, but conveys the tone and playfulness we all enjoy here on COLOURlovers.
So, in order to make sure you were seeing your preferred language, we put some flags at the bottom of the page in the footer for you to select your native language. I also made it so the site would read your Accept-Language header and see if any languages we had installed matched one you had your browser set as preferred.
In most cases, if you are from a non-English speaking country, this setting was set for you without you knowing about it; changing the subdomain of colourlovers.com. You may have noticed before today that you were surfing on something like de-de.colourlovers.com, or fr-fr.colourlovers.com. If that was the case, any requests to www.colourlovers.com [like the one sent from Seamless when you hit "Save"] was 301 Redirected to your-lang.colourlovers.com, killing the POST request entirely, and therefore not saving the file.
I have disabled the subdomain languages entirely. This should, in effect, make it possible to use Seamless again.
Please keep in mind that I still see some other issues with Seamless come in from time to time, but this one seems to be a major cause of not being able to save the Pattern Definitions.

Took another crack at it this morning.

Oh dear!! ^^'
That makes CL feel very human =)
It's nice to know you're trying to give access to the whole world - even through I use the english version, I appreciate it. I knew they existed and hence could advise CL to some non english speaking friends.

Might as well put this here
