For me, it was this one:



It was not the first time I had created a palette out of words rather than colors, and two of my others had been pretty successful, but this one... I don't know. The color combo is pretty bizarre, and after it was submitted I remembered that Rev. Tutu had been elevated to Archbishop quite a while ago, but archbishop was green, which looked even stranger, so I just left it.

Maybe I'll re-use it for something else someday. When you change the colors, can you also change the name?

Ah yeah. It always seems like a good idea at the time. =b

I feel better knowing others hate some of their things too.



Especially with 'qlassik clean'. I get the feeling that there was too little unity so it looked disorganised...unlike, say, 'Calendar Scenes', where all the colours are in harmony with each other.

I am just hating most of the palettes I first made. I feel they are sooo childish and naive. Yuck. I would delete these palettes in a blink of an eye! My least favorite is 'Circus Old'. What was I thinking?

My very first palette. I was just seeing how it works... It has a stupid name and it's kind of ugly. The only thing good about this palette is that I got my first 2 CL thanks to it. If someone wouldnt have left me a comment in the start I probably would have moved on from this site a long ago.

I think those are actually quite lovely!

I have so many I regret making... most were concept palettes of some sort, made with something other than sheer aesthetics in mind. Here are some:

some of these that have been posted are actually pretty good. but we all have our regrets or things that could've been better...

Some ideas start meaning well but just crash. At least some look better in widths?, if that scrapes up any redemption. I think that last one just says it. =P In more ways than one, ouch.

...I completely slaughtered someone's Harley Davidson palette. I'm pretty ashamed.


I'm actually happy with this one now, I salvaged it from a horrible palette using the soul white and a crimson red. And I happened upon two rather fittingly named pastel colors on the first shot. (Scared Child and Lilita - which is a gorgeous painting).

I think some of the palettes posted here look pretty good too.
